Canine Hoopers Classes In Newmarket

Free flowing fun for everyone!

Hoopers is a super accessible dog sport that’s open to all! From puppies to seniors, and every dog in between - any dog can enjoy a jaunt through the hoopers course!

It’s one of the fastest growing dog activities in the UK, enjoyed by many as a low impact, low pressure alternative to agility. With no jumps, tight turns or fast weaves, it’s a fun activity that all dogs (and their humans) can enjoy.

Hooper is inclusive to all

One of the things I love most about Hoopers is how inclusive it is. It doesn’t matter if your dog isn’t super athletic, or isn’t highly obedient - the focus is on fun and spending quality time together.

Hoopers is as accessible and inclusive to humans as it is dogs - so leave any worries about your own fitness or mobility at the door - we’ll flex to make it work for you both.

Why Do Canine Hoopers

  • It's a super fun and a great way to strengthen the bond between you and your dog.
  • It’s confidence building - trained using kind and reward-based techniques, your dog will love every second in the ring
  • It encourages independence and focus as your dog works with you at a distance - enhancing their listening skills!
  • It's great for nervous or shy dogs as it’s low pressure with plenty of space from others
  • It builds body awareness - which is great for proprioception and movement
  • It's great for high energy dogs as it channels their energy and builds impressive focus
  • Did I mention it's super FUN?!

And make time for no-holds barred fun with your dog!

Meet your dog trainer (and optimism provider!)

I started training because of my own experiences with my reactive dog Matty. I stumbled through and struggled with lots of conflicting and well-meaning advice that was unfortunately totally wrong for Matty.

I was devastated and that started me on my journey to not only help him but also help others finding themselves in the same situation.

The two things I love about being a dog trainer are seeing a dog who has been experiencing fear, anxiety or a lack of confidence, gain confidence in something and literally beam with pride.

The other is when a dog does something that totally amazes their owner in a good way, the look of total pride and love makes everything worthwhile.

I’m kind, force-free and compassionate with both dogs and humans. And I’d love to help you escape the strain and enjoy the life you deserve.
